Culture, Community and Me

Visiting from afar...

During this week, we were very lucky to have had two visitors from Australia. They were called Ben and Zoe, and they were here to spend time with their cousins, Dan and Charlie Woodward.

Ben spent his day in year four with Dan, and Zoe went to year three with Charlie.

We really enjoyed the time they spent with us and they presented an amazing power-point all about their life in Australia. It was really interesting to learn lots of cool facts and to see all the fun things they get up to.

We hope they enjoyed their day as much as we did.

Thank you Ben and Zoe!

Queens 90th Birthday Celebration

What a fantastic event. We were blessed by the weather and the sun shone. Children and staff wore their best clothes for the Garden Party. We were entertained by a recital from the opera group and then had tea on the lawn.

A great big 'thank you' to everyone who helped to make this a super success!

The EU Referendum

All the learners took part in a discussion assembly where they shared their understanding of the upcoming Referendum. We were all astounded by the learners knowledge and understanding of the issues.

Year 5 Opera

what a fantastic opportunity. The learners in Year 5 have been working with some music students from Bath Spa University. They have been rehearsing for roles in an operatic presentation at the University.

The learners performance was amazing we were really proud of them.
