Pupil Premium Expenditure - 2016-2017

Pupil Premium and Pupil Premium Plus spending 2015-2016

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.


The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools and was introduced in 2011-2012. The money is intended to address inequalities for learners from low income families. There are three categories of learners who are eligible:


  • learners who are eligible for free school meals
  • looked after children
  • learners who are the children of armed forces personnel


Schools are required to publish how they have spent this money. We are expecting to receive approximately £36,000 in 2014-2015 and the school expects to the money on:


  • Parent support advisor ( £5,900)
  • 1:1  and small group learning support ( £18,500)
  • support for trips, educational visits and additional activities (£1,600)
  • additional resource materials to improve maths and writing (£4,000)
  • Enrichment activities for most able (£6,000)
